Barry was a doer and an adventurer. At three years, he ventured by tricycle (no, his mother did not know) from his house, crossing a busy main boulevard, to visit his very surprised aunt. His travels through life continued in much the same way, unafraid of new adventures or facing challenges. The many different turns Barry’s life took brought him into a variety of opportunities including hotel management, manufacturing for Mercury Records, furniture manufacturing and publishing. No matter which task he would undertake, his involvement was total. He would go full bore learning every aspect until he found a way to improve upon the task. What he enjoyed most were the friends he met along the way in scouting, high school activities, UCLA football, army, boating, design, 1984 Olympics, American Red Cross and travel. As you, his friends and family, read this, it will undoubtedly trigger memories of the great times about which he so often reminisced.
